BPM Manager and Solultion Architect (Contract position)

       Lead workflow automation for Budget Formulation for funding request ($4.9 billion) to congress. The effort  automated the workflow for FDAbudget proposal process to congress, specifically the FDA prioritization, HHS Justification, OMB Justification and Congressional Justification processs. Specific responsiblities included:

·         Project Management duties included creating an maintaining high level project plan,  a Product Backlog, and performing Sprint Planning (defining sprints, user stories, technical stories, tasks, acceptance criteria), and creating and updating Sprint Backlogs.

·         Created a Business domain model to aid in determining groups, roles, permssions, and data needed for the workflows/process models. Created BPMN workflow diagrams in Visio and in K2 Blackpearl BPM tool.

Lead Appian Architect and Developer (Contract position)

       Instrumental in working with multifunctional teams (Architecture, Infrastructure, Application team, Security, and Operations) in certifiying and establishing Appian 7.x as a technology into Freddie Mac. Specific responsiblities included:

·         Worked with Architecture and Requirements team to spec out the infrastructure requirements for Appian installation in production and lower environments.

·         Installed Appian 7.7 in a WebLogic 12c and DB2 environment integrated with LDAP and IBM Tivoli Access Manager (TAM)

 Comsearch -  Lead Architect and Developer

Comsearch wanted to expand market share and profits by leveraging the ecommerce medium. I was hired by the V.P. of Software to propose a successful migration strategy of SQL Form, UNIFY and Unix/C based legacy technology. I recommended an architecture that abstracted the EJB layer so that if the technological landscape changes the impact on software would be minimal. In additional several design patterns were invented to leverage the technology. After evaluating several vendor products, BEA Weblogic and Toplink was chosen due its robustness and maturity compared to IBM Websphere or Sun Iplanet (the other two leading vendors at the time). In about seven months, I mentored and led existing Comsearch staff and successfully delivered the first ecommerce application to its Internet customers. This ecommerce website was instrumental in enabling Comsearch to win the "2001 UTC Best Telecom Service Award".
